Our Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid charging a cancellation fee of $25 per service booked. By entering your credit card information, which is encrypted and stored to your customer profile, you agree to accept our cancellation and no-show policy fees. All applicable cancellation fee(s) will be charged to your card if you cancel less than 24 hours from of the start of your appointment.
To be considered valid, cancellations must be made via our website peacelovegoodhair.com, email or phone at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. For appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment the $25 cancellation fee per service booked will apply. For group bookings of two or more, each guest that cancels within 24hrs will be charged $25 per service booked. If you or any member of your group fails to cancel or show for your appointment(s) you will be considered a no-show and the no-show policy will apply.
LATE POLICY:
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we might have to cancel, reschedule, or adjust your service(s) to fit the remaining time. If we adjust, cancel or reschedule your service, you will be charged the full cost of the service(s).
NO SHOW POLICY:
If you no-show for your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of each service booked (the total cost of the appointment). Your appointment will be considered a no-show if you fail to show up or fail to cancel or reschedule prior to the start of your appointment. For group bookings of two or more, your card will be charged for each service that any member of the group fails to show for. By entering your credit card information, which is encrypted and stored to your customer profile, you agree to accept our cancellation and no-show policy fees.
RETURN POLICY:
We accept returns within 21 days for any damaged products. No returns will be accepted without proof of purchase. Please note that all services, prepaid series, gift cards/gift certificates and memberships are non-refundable.
GIFT CARD AND GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY:
Gift cards will be delivered to you activated and ready to use. Please treat them like cash. Peace Love and Good Hair Blow Dry Bar is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
Gift cards or gift certificates do not expire. Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable.
EXTENSIONS POLICY:
All of our Stylists have learned how to handle extensions with care. However, Peace Love and Good Hair is not responsible for damaged or loose extensions as a result of a Peace Love Good Hair service.
Guests with bonded extensions, including “tape-in”, “beaded–in” or “sewn-in”, will be charged a $15 fee to allow for the extra care and time required to style the extensions. Guests with “sewn-in” extensions are advised to reach out prior to booking their appointment. This will allow us to assess your needs and confirm we can provide you with service that meets our standards.
DETANGLING POLICY:
All Peace Love and Good Hair services include up to 15 minutes of hair detangling. If you arrive to your appointment with hair in a condition that requires more than 15 minutes of detangling, we may have to cancel, reschedule, or, if timing permits, book you into our Detangling Service. The cost of cancelling or rescheduling the appointment is $25 per service booked. The cost of the Detangling Service is $50/hour and is billable in 30-minute increments for anytime beyond the 15 minutes of detangling that is included as part of the service. To ensure we can service all Guests efficiently at their desired appointment times we ask that Guests arrive to their appointment with hair that is ready to be serviced or take advantage of booking our Detangling Service online (ahead of your scheduled appointment).
BLOW OUT WITH EXTENDED TIME/ DIFFUSED STYLE BLOW OUT WITH EXTENDED TIME:
A Blow Out with Extended Time (or Diffused Style Blow Out with Extended) Time is our signature Blow Out service, inclusive of a wash, for Guests who require 75 minutes or more to complete their blow out. This service is ideal for Guests with hair length, density or texture that requires a longer blow out time. To ensure we can service all Guests efficiently at their desired appointment times we ask that Guests who require more than 75 minutes for a blow out/diffused style blow out or those who are unsure whether they should book our standard Blow Out or Blow Out with Extended Time/ Diffused Style Blow Out with Extended Time, call us before so we can help you book the appropriate amount of time. Pricing for the Blow Out with Extended Time / Diffused Style Blow Out with Extended Time is an additional $15 above the cost of a blowout (or diffused style blow out) for the extended time service. Add an additional $15 for extensions.
STYLIST REQUESTS:
While we try to accommodate all stylist requests, we cannot guarantee you will be paired with a particular stylist. We’ll do our best to pair you with the stylist you chose when you booked your appointment.
PROMOTIONS:
Promotions will be applied during checkout. They will not appear online, or in confirmation emails. In addition, pricing and promotions are subject to change.
CREDIT CARDS:
A credit card will be used to hold an appointment but will not be charged at the time of booking an appointment. The only time a credit card will be charged is at the time of payment (as determined by the Guest) or due to a late cancellation. By providing your credit card to book an appointment you accept the terms of our cancellation policy and agree to have your credit card charged the cancellation fee in the event of a late cancellation.
DRY STYLE POLICY:
A dry style is a no-wash, no-blow dry service that is performed on clean dry hair for the price of $25-$35
For a service to qualify as a dry style it must be achievable within 20 minutes or less and on hair that is deemed in good condition (clean, dry, not overly matted or tangled).
Only signature styles, as outlined in the hairstyle menu, will qualify for a dry style.
Guests who are late and may be subject to a dry style service will be charged the full price of the service booked. Dry style services will not be offered at the reduced rates as defined above on select days such as New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve and the day before Thanksgiving. Peace Love and Good Hair has the right to refuse a dry style service should it not meet the criteria as defined above or if the quality of work will be compromised without the full wash and style. Walk-in, dry style appointments will only be accommodated based on stylist availability.
Guidelines for determining whether a dry style can be accommodated (must answer yes to all points below):
Style can be achieved in 20 minutes or less.
Style does not require the use of a blow dryer.
Guest has clean, dry hair that is in good condition (no excessive matting or tangles).
Guest is choosing one of the styles from the hairstyle menu.
Quality of work will not be compromised by offering a dry style.
